International CT Image Contest: Submission now completed. Vote for your favorite image
Between November 2009 and February 2010 users of SOMATOM Definition, SOMATOM AS and SOMATOM Flash submitted over 270 CT images to the international CT image contest. The contest aims on choosing the best CT images acquired at the lowest radiation dose. In February, the jury starts to evaluate the images.
Aside from the jury evaluation, there will also be a public voting from February 1st until March 1st, 2010. You are invited to inform your colleagues and friends to vote for their favorite image online as “Public’s Favorite CT Image, 2010″. Or vote as well yourself for your favorite image at www.siemens.com/image-contest.
Six winners in the six categories
- cardiac,
- vascular,
- neuro,
- thorax,
- abdomen and
- pelvis
will be announced at the ECR 2010 in Vienna, Austria during the joint symposium with Bayer Schering Pharma and Siemens: March 5th, 2010, 14:00-15:30, Room E1.
The winners will receive a Canon EOS 50D camera and his image will be printed on a big canvas. Winning pictures will be exhibited at the ECR 2010 in Vienna, Austria, and also at the RSNA 2010 in Chicago, USA!
