Institute for Diagnostic Radiology, University Hospitals Zurich, Switzerland

Due to the positive resonance to our recent hands-on workshops, we have retained the workshop content essentially unchanged. We will offer another theoretical basic course that deals with the basics of anatomy and CT physics and goes on to explain the major indications for calcium scoring and coronary angiography.

You will also be able to get the latest views of the newly participating Cardiology Clinic and the Clinic for Cardiac and Vascular Surgery on cardiac CT imaging.

As in the previous years, theoretical presentations will be followed by practical sessions showing how to solve problems related to data acquisition and post processing. We will also provide you with useful tips on the correct interpretation of images.

By popular request, we have expanded and will allow more time for the hands-on part of the workshop so that you will be able to practice reading numerous cardiac CT examinations, prepare reports and learn more about differential diagnosis.

All participants will receive a detailed course outline and a CD Rom containing the complete course contents.

We hope to welcome you at the next hands-on workshop in Zurich!
