Fellowship at Vancouver General Hospital

There is a unique opportunity that has arisen and we are offering variable 3-6 months, up to a one year period Trauma / ER imaging fellowship which can begin as early as May 2008The individual will be exposed to all aspects of DSCT imaging in acute and trauma applications, which includes cardiac imaging, MSK applications such as imaging of gout, renal calculi evaluation, renal masses, and trauma imaging. Our Department has a large cardiac computed tomography case file series that includes over 500 cases on the dual source scanner. We have 3 dedicated Siemens workstations and Siemens Webspace available.Didactic teaching is held once a week, and there is the opportunity to do the ATLS exam. There is also an opportunity to go to the operating theater to see live surgical management of trauma injuries.Please find more detailed information here fellowship-ad.doc
