The ability to simultaneously operate two X-ray sources at different energy levels – and therefore differentiate materials like fat, soft tissue, and contrast agent on the basis of their unique energy-dependent attenuation profiles – is opening the door to a host of clinically useful applications. This course is designed to assist you in applying these techniques, enhancing your clinical practice skills and providing you with insights on current and future developments. The course format is a combination of lectures and hands-on for post-processing

  • Details on physical principles of Dual Energy
  • Introduction on data acquisition and image reconstruction
  • Clinically proven tips and tricks on patient examination
  • Interactive evaluation of data sets showing how to optimize data reconstruction and clinical results 
  • Supervised hands-on study of these data sets followed by interactive proof-reading and discussion
  • For each application a minimum of 5 cases is available
