Siemens has initiated a clinical workshop on Dual Energy in cooperation with Dr. Thorsten Johnson, radiologist from the University of Munich, Grosshadern and an expert on the field of Dual Energy. The 2-day workshops will be conducted at Siemens’ headquarters in Forchheim and will focus on physical principles and clinical tips and tricks on scan protocols as well as patient scanning. A major feature of the course will be hands-on experience to improve the participant’s skills in processing Dual Energy datasets.

The course is dedicated to radiologists who already have a SOMATOM Definition installed or will acquire one in the near future. Ideally, the participants should already be familiar with the syngo user interface and have a basic understanding of multislice CT.
