Case: Thorax of 7-year old with Flash

Case history
Psychomotor retardation, spastic tetraparesis, epilepsy, deafness. Respiratory insufficiency after femoral osteotomy. Substantial ventilation needs. Pseudomonas from sputum culture.

Diagnosis
Diffuse ground glass aspect of the lung parenchyma on both sides. Differential diagnosis includes congestive heart failure or acute interstitial pneumonia. Lymphadenopathy and high caliber of the pulmonary veins.

Comments
A very challenging case, which can be made easy by using the flash technique. Contrast injection was administered through the femoralis-line. Provides you low dose, high diagnostic and no motion artefacts.
