More sophisticated imaging technology makes CT and MR scan acquisition more complex and challenging for the user. This 4-day course for radiologists and cardiologists is devoted to cutting edge cardiac imaging. Participants will have an opportunity to learn the basics of cardiac CT and MRI acquisition and interpretation with interactive workstation reviews of 50 cardiac CT exams. This review meets requirements for level 1 (and partial level 2) credentialing in cardiac CT according to ACR/ACC guidelines.

Organizer
The faculty is comprised of cardiovascular radiologists and cardiologists from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), one of the very first sites where cardiac 64-slice, dual-source CT, dual-energy CT, and, most recently 2nd generation dual-source CT became available.

Course directors are Philip Costello, M.D. and U. Joseph Schoepf, M.D.

Location
Sanctuary Resort on Kiawah Island, South Carolina, USA
